Comfy Quilts donate 1000 duvets to refugees in Iraq

by Hayley Wilkinson|12th November 2015

Comfy Quilts recently teamed up with social enterprise; Goods for Good to help hundreds of refugees keep warm by donating 1000 duvets to communities in need.

Goods for Good source and send products donated by UK businesses to vulnerable communities living around the world, and last week they delivered 1000 duvets to refugees in Kurdistan, Iraq, which were manufactured and donated by Comfy. As winter is fast approaching, these duvets will help hundreds of refugees to survive the imminent bitter winter under canvas.

Rosalind Bluestone, Founder and Director of Goods for Good confirmed “6,000 children died last year during winter 2014.  I wanted to thank you, not only from our team, but from each and every man, woman and child recipient to who your quilts brings not only warmth; but also HOPE.”

Jamie Moryoussef, Operations Director at Comfy Quilts added “It’s fantastic to see our duvets being used for such a worthy cause, and we are pleased to be helping such a worthwhile charity.”
